"The Dezine Deva Story"

Natalie Cooke is our Business Consultant at Dezine Deva Consulting. When she started her interior design and home staging business there was no one to turn to for answers to any of her questions. She signed up for courses thinking that it would help her with her business but instead she was flooded with more papers and more information to read on her own. So instead of concentrating on her clients she spent most of her time researching what what interior design and home staging businesses could and could not do in regards to taxes, ordering furniture, advertising and business registration. It came to a point where research took up majority of her time. She knew that she need the information to run a successful business but it was not easy to find. Today Natalie can say that even if she had taken a business management course, it still would not have provided her with valid information specifically on how to operate a successful design firm. It took her years of hard work and dedication not to mention learning from my mistakes.

What she found most frightening were the other designers in the industry, if she worked for them they were very selective on what they wanted her to know and were so afraid of helping her, or never provided enough information. Never the less she prevailed; she increased my knowledge through course upgrades, night school and seminars. Thereafter she found that everyone that sje met would ask her questions like, who designed her website? Or who how did she get her domain names? who do she order your furniture from?, or how do she got clients? She always had the answers, in September 2007 she met a young lady on face book, they connected instantly one because she shared the same dreams Natalie shared, and two she saw the one thing that Natalie's partner in life also saw, a “genius”, and told Natalie that she should share her knowledge with others.

Then most recently a girlfriend said to Natalie that she need to wake up each morning doing what she loved to do, and it was to keep people informed.

Later on that year Natalie did an evaluation on her life in order to decide what she wanted to do for the next decade, and her final decision was that she wanted to keep people informed about lifestyles, design trends, and entertainment. With that said she enrolled in and completed The Radio & Television Broadcasting course and I love it, she found that her desire for meeting new people, talking to them and educating them was definitely my passion.

Through this channel she produced Dezine Deva Consulting and introduced The Consultant's SuccessSeminar. This seminar is designed to provide Interior Designers & Home Stagers with solutions that are tailored towards their business. You will be provided with proper resources to run a profitable and passionate business. Often business owner spend too much time and effort gathering new clients and do nothing else. However managing them or having the right resources becomes one of the main issues faced when trying to operate a business either as a team or as individuals.
